ADDITIONAL COMPETITIONS OUTSIDE OF THE SHOW SCHEDULE
RANGIORA SHOP FRONT DISPLAY COMPETITION
The Association is excited to announce a new business community competition in the lead-up to the Rangiora Show, The Rangiora Shop Display Competition. We are encouraging businesses within Rangiora to dress up their shop fronts or create a display in country theme from Friday 9th October through till Friday 16th October. Displays will be judged by Waimakariri District Council Mayor, Dan Gordon and the Association’s President, Malcom Wyllie.
Prizes = There are up to $1,000 of prizes up for grabs, including a $700 services voucher kindly donated by Momac Creative Agency which can be redeemed across their Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Website, Photography, Videography and Content Creation services. (Printed products are excluded).

MOTORISED FURNITURE RACE
Do you think you have what it takes to be the Rangiora Show Furniture Race Champion? Turn household furniture into your racing machine, then power it by single-cylinder engine. Be the fastest around a short course, with separate kids (U16) and adults categories. Running at approximately 11 am in the Main Oval. Open to all ages and free to enter. Prizes = There is up to $1000 of cash prizes to be won.

SCHOOLS HOME & CRAFT COMPETITION
Calling all preschools and primary schools in the Waimakariri District. The preschool and primary school with the highest number of entries in the Home and Craft section will each win a fantastic prize - a shield kindly crafted by our local Menz Shed and $200 worth of vouchers.
